Radio duo Hamish and Andy will make their return to the small screen next month when their overseas road trip to America gets underway.
Hamish & Andy’s American Caravan of Courage will begin its two part special series at 7:30pm on Thursday September 10th.
The show will document the boy’s road trip in the USA, where they plan on travelling 5000 kms from Miami to Los Angeles in their trusty Abra-Van Lincoln RV.
Hamish & Andy have previously fronted specials for the Ten Network including Hamish & Andy Re-Gifted, in which they towed a caravan from Adelaide to Darwin.
And it is not the first time the pair have broadcast their show live from overseas. Last year the two funny-men headed to the Beijing Olympics where they entertained crowds and inspired the Australian athletes.
It is a short lived return to TV for the duo that have tried their best, but failed at every attempt, to have a successful series.
In 2005 their first show, the Hamish and Andy Show, failed miserably on Channel Seven and was axed after two weeks.
They made a return in 2006 with their sketch comedy show Real Stories, however it was poorly received by the public and due to miserbale ratings it was also pulled by the Ten Network after eight episodes.
Hamish and Andy will depart overseas in just over two days and will broadcast each day’s antics on their afternoon drive show, the Drive home with Hamish and Andy.
