We heard a bit about the ‘White Room’ in the forgettable 2007 series of Big Brother when four housemates were thrown into a sensory depriving room which had no colour, limited food and very little entertainment.
In contrast, the Seven network are set to bring us a new White Room, which is full of colour, full of excitement and will sure to be making headlines for the right reasons.
White Room is the networks new ‘TV based’ game show that will take a humourous side to trivia and Australia’s television industry.
With the premiere scheduled for next week, the producers of the show recently announced the regular panelists for the series.
They will be: Dave Thornton, Felicity Ward, George McEncroe and Lawrence Mooney.
The four will join hosts Julian Schiller and Tony Moclair.
In a statement released by the Seven Network, it praised the talents of the new members stating:
“Dave Thornton is one of the country’s hottest young comedic talents and is currently co-hosting breakfast radio on Nova Brisbane; Felicity Ward is a Melbourne International Comedy Festival Most Outstanding Newcomer nominee and made a big impression on the past series of Thank God You’re Here; George McEncroe is a comedian, radio presenter and mother of four, who will bring warmth and humour to The White Room; while comedy favourite Lawrence Mooney is a familiar face on Aussie TV and has performed at just about every comedy festival around the globe.”
White Room premieres at 7:30pm Thursday February 11 on Seven.
