The third season of the celebrity US realty television series, The Apprentice, is set to make its mark in 2010 with a list of big names already confirmed for the highly popular show.
This week it was confirmed rock-star wife Sharon Osbourne, singer Cindy Lauper and former track and field legend Michael Johnson will join the bill for the new season.
The trio will add to the already impressive line up, consisting of Sinbad, WWE wrestler Maria Kanellis, Carol Leifer, former Illinois governor and karaoke failure Rod Blagojevich, Joe Combover, WWE star Bill Goldberg, famed right fielder Darryl Strawberry, sexy model Selita Ebanks, swimmer Summer Sanders, and actress-children’s book author Holly Robinson Peete.
By far the most controversial addition is that of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich who is facing a series of allegations including attempting to ‘sell’ US President Barrack Obama’s seat in the Senate.
Mr. Blagojevich was removed from office soon after the allegations were made against him, but he denies any wrongdoing.
Last year he was barred from traveling to Costa Rica to compete in another reality show and his wife, Patti, took his place.
Business tycoon, Donald Trump will once again fill the spot in the hot seat as the man behind the hiring and firing.
Those who have watched The Apprentice in the past will know that Trump will not be taking any back step just because the casts are celebrities.
The US Celebrity Apprentice will premiere in the states on March 14!
