Filed under Although a US television series, Desperate Housewives has made a recognisable name for itself on Australian TV.The series is based on the lives of the housewives who live in the wealthy town of Fairview.
In each episode we follow the lives of these wealthy women, shown to us through the eyes of their dead neighbour Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong).
Desperate housewives lets viewers travel on the journey of domestic struggles and family life, whilst takes us through the characters struggle to face the secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind their beautiful and seemingly perfect neighbourhood.
The show features an all star cast headed by Teri Hatcher who plays the neurotic Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as the exuberant full time mother Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross who stars as the pedantic ‘perfect’ housewife Bree Van de Kamp, and Eva Longoria Parker as the snobby, model housewife Gabrielle Solis.
Desperate Housewives airs on Channel seven Monday 8.30pm.
