The world famous American mokumantary comedy series called Modern Family is finally set to make its debut on Channel Ten.
After short stints around the Australian TV world, the great and very popular series will finally get itself a good time slot and a network serious of giving it the support it deserves.
The half hour series is created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan and is produced by Fox.
The show follows the families of a guy called Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neill), his daughter Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen), and his son Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).
They all live in LA where Jay is married to a much younger Colombian woman, Gloria (SofĂa Vergara), who is helping her raise her pre-teen son.
Mitchell and his partner Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) have adopted a Vietnamese baby, Lily, making for a crazy and wildly humourous plot.
The show has had a spot on ABC for a while, and as most good shows that are uncovered do, it came across to a commercial station to get the attention it deserved.
For those of you who love your Sydney beaches, this news might hurt, but the show will replace Bondi Rescue from 8pm Tuesday from May 18th.
But not to worry, while it is replacing a good show, it will certainly not let viewers down.
