Reality, Reality, Reality- it seems Australian’s like many other nations can’t get enough. Channel seven aren’t usually the first network to take on reality shows, but their latest TV show 10 Years Younger in 10 Days has certainly paid off.

This reality make-over show, presented by host Sonia Kruger has had a welcoming reception, with millions of viewers tuning in for the premier episode. It is based on the British series, 10 Years Younger, where Kruger aims to help participants look younger in only 10 days (without cosmetic surgery).

Each contestant, (or pair) are given a complete makeover in a vein attempt to make them look younger and feel better when they step out of their home. At the start of the show, people guess the person’s age and an average guess is taken. From the average, Kruger sets a target image and at the end of the show, the guess is taken again, comparing the two results after the makeover.

Not really much to the show, except we get to meet different contestants, see them get new clothing and sport a new do in an attempt to look younger than what people think they are. None the less, many of us enjoy watching the sudden transformation and ‘improvement’ on others lives when we tune in on Channel nine on Tuesday’s at 9.30pm.
