Lincoln Lewis Departs Home & Away

Lincoln Lewis, the 21 year old teenage sensation, is set to leave Summer Bay, after confirming he will be departing the Channel Seven Series, Home & Away.

After a two year stint on the Australian soap, the blonde hunk will turn his attention to the film industry in Hollywood after filming his final episode for the show tomorrow.

Lewis, who won a Logie for his role as Geoff Campbell in Home & Away, will take up a role in the film Tomorrow: When The War Began.

He said that while he would miss the Queensland set, the time was right to make the move.

“I’ve been working in the training for the film with my commitments on Home and Away, so it’s been pretty busy,” Lewis said.

“It’s exciting. It’s sad to be leaving the cast and crew on Home and Away. It was a hard decision to make, but I also think it’s the right time to go.”

Lewis, who is the son of rugby league great Wally Lewis, also starred on the Seven reality series Dancing With the Stars, and was a crowd favourite before being eliminated.

In 2008 he was also at the centre of a sex scandal where he admitted to filming a private sexual act on his mobile phone.

While he finishes filming for Home & Away this week, he will continue to remain on our screens for several more months.
