There have been plenty of changes to GO!’s Sunday night programming with South Park, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Weeds making way for the good old fashion Sunday night movie.

Starting this week, The Matrix Revolutions will screen from 8:30pm, with more movies expected over the following two Sundays as we race to the finish line of the ratings year.

Meanwhile, Mars Attacks, originally slated for late Saturday night on Nine, will now screen at 11pm Sunday on GO! in place of Bad Eggs.

The three ‘semi-axed’ shows will return in the later parts of December.

The announcement comes just days after the re-shuffle of Saturday nights on the channel, with The Hills, Father of the Pride, South Park and Reno 9/11 being replaced or bumped.

Beginning this Saturday The Hills is replaced with The Nanny and Get Smart from 6pm, while Father of the Pride, South Park and Reno 9/11 will be replaced by repeats of Seinfeld.

Reno 9/11 will keep its spot on the roster, but will be pushed back to 10:30pm.
The changes to the new station could be a result of changing demographics of the network.

With the similarities between Nine & GO! and Seven & 7TWO, it appears the changes are a way of reinforcing its target demographics to the public.

Time will only tell what effect the changes will have, but for the time being, it’s confusing stuff for the audiences, especially when they are trying to form a routine with the new channel.
