The HBO series has kept American’s glued to their TV screens and soon, we too can get a taste of the vampire show that has everyone hooked. True Blood is the story of the Louisiana town of Bon Temps, where vampires have rose from their coffins and no longer need humans to survive.

Sookie Stackhouse is the main character that seems like your typical young women, she waitresses at the local bar and keeps to herself, yet Stackhouse is keeping a dangerous secret; she can hear thoughts of others. Stackhouse’s talent makes her life complicated, especially when she gets her first vampire patron- 173 year old Bill Compton- as they are both immediately drawn to each others differences.

Creator of True Blood is writer of award winning American Beauty, Alan Ball and is a series that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The dark tale will be available on DVD July 1st.
