Filed under Popular teen series Gossip Girl has amused millions on our TV screens, but the teen drama show has now graduated to DVD. The first season has been available to us for a while, but the latest Gossip Girl: The Complete Second season will soon be released in special DVD set.
The second season had increased ratings when screened on TV, so it will be no surprise if the DVD’s are just as popular.
The senior year for New Yorks finest and the drama is only just beginning. Throughout their new year, these Upper East Sider’s go through their ups and downs. They start applying for college, new romances start and some fade, scandals begin and friends turn into enemies: all before Gossip Girl can update.
Families and reputations of the teens are destroyed and also made, with fortunes displayed. In season two, friendships are questioned and tested making life more than fun and games for Serena, Blair, Nate, Dan, Jenny, Vanessa and Chuck.
The seven disc Gossip girl set will include all 25 episodes from the second season and almost four hours of special features, unaired scenes and downloadable audiobook from the Gossip Girl collection.
Gossip Girl: The complete second season will be available on DVD August 28, 2009.
