The British are known for their comedy TV shows and Black Books is the perfect TV series example. Over the last decade this show has made us laugh and cry from the great comedic performances and funny scripts.
Black Blooks is hilariously funny and has plenty of value to re-watch, time and time again. The DVD collection allows viewers to do just that, they can watch their favourite episodes any time they like, even though the show is no longer on the airwaves.
The concept for the show is simple- Bernard runs a bookshop, but the only (slight) problem is that he dislikes being around people, hates serving customers and would rather be drinking wine and making rude comments. After drinking much of his favourite wine Bernard then offers Manny a job at the bookstore. For some reason Manny accepts the job and spends his days taking abuse from Bernard, but remains overly optimistic.
The quirky bookstore owner and worker, combined with comedic performances from Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey makes Black Books a top UK TV series to watch. Although there are only three seasons of the hit show, their legacy remains and there is still more than enough episodes to make you smile.
The complete box set includes season 1, 2 and 3 and has the whole 18 episodes of Black Books.
