The show that told us how to read people’s lies will be back on our airwaves next year after the hit show “Lie to Me” won a contract renewal on US FOX network. The show inspired by a real-life behavioural scientist has just finished up for the first season, screening 13 Episodes on Channel Ten.

If you missed the Tuesday late night screening of the drama TV series, you will soon be able to watch it on Blu Ray and DVD. From August 25th you will be able to purchase season one of the popular drama show that takes us through the life of a deception expert who has to uncover the truth for the police, FBI, law firms, individuals and corporations.

Dr Cal Lightman and his ‘lie’ detective team are the human version of the polygraph- there is no lie that wont be uncovered. Our body movements and human behaviour are studied intensely and it is this behaviour that gives away the lies.

Created by Sam Baum, Lie to Me is an entertaining and unique show that allows us to see how the human psyche works and ways to uncover the truth.

Season One of Lie to Me will be available on DVD and Blu Ray from August 25th 2009.
