Chuck may be on Australian television airwaves at the moment, but for those who don’t have FOXTEL can also get a taste of the show that has everybody talking. The complete first season of Chuck is now available on DVD and gives viewers a look at the ace computer geek from the beginning.

The quote from this series is “He’s the Secret. She’s the Agent” and the show is based around computer nerd Chuck Bartowski, who is certainly not in the right frame of mind. Chuck has ‘unwittingly’ downloaded stolen government information and secrets, and ever since action, excitement and a secret agent girlfriend have entered his life.

But because of this Chuck is now in danger 24/7. Throughout the show Chuck uses high techno-gadgetry, goes though martial arts smackdowns, and has narrow escapes in this action comedy about a new age everyday guy. Chuck is James Bond in a subcompact and Jason Bourne using a pocket protector. Tough guy meets nerd. This is Chuck.

The complete first season is now available on DVD and includes all 12 episodes plus bonus features.
