Since 2004, the American TV drama series Lost has dominated airwaves around the world. Many countries have enjoyed watching their weekly episode of Lost, and now too are enjoying the series on DVD. There have been five seasons of Lost released on DVD, each one gaining popularity amongst the public. Lost is based on the actions survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 take once they are stranded on a mysterious island; 1,000 miles off course.

The characters each possess a shocking secret, which we find throughout the five seasons. But the secrets the survivors hold are nothing compared to the island; which holds a large security system, underground bunkers and hides away a group of violent survivalists.

The finale of season three took us forward in time, to reveal that somehow both Kate and Jack managed to get off the island. Whilst in season four we continue to move back and forward in time to see which characters manage to flee the island and how they settle themselves back into civilization. The experience on Lost’s island affects the survivors in their everyday lives, and we see this in the final episodes of the series.
