It seems now is the season for former successful television series to reunite once again on the small screens.
First we saw the cast of Seinfeld come together one more time on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, fittingly titled, The Seinfeld Reunion.
And now we have seen another highly rated drama/comedy series reunite, with the Ally McBeal team catching up on America’s Good Morning America, to plug their latest DVD release.
The show originally ran for five years, from 1997 to 2002, and was set in the fictional Boston law firm Cage, Fish and Associates.
The writer of the series, David E. Kelley, who also sat down for the chat, was quite vocal in the reunion, praising the success of the show and how fun it was to work with the cast and crew.
There were, however, a few notable absentees, with no Lucy Liu, Portia De Rossi or Dame Edna Everage on the segment.
On the upside, Courtney Thorne-Smith did look a million bucks, and there is still another second half of the interview yet to be aired.
Ally McBeal: The Complete Series is already out on the shelves and can be picked up at most entertainment stores and online websites.
As usual, buyers can expect plenty of special features, including the episode of The Practice that Calista Flockhart had guest starred in.
