With the recent passing away of Charlies Angels series one star, Farah Fawcett, the DVD release of Charlie’s Angels series four is a timely way to relive the glory days of the adored actress.

Fans of the original series could be forgiven for not knowing any of the cast members in the latest release. In the four series of the action crime show, they have managed to go through three sets of ‘angels’.

The original trio of beauties who worked largely undercover as private detectives for the Charles Townsend Agency, Kate Jackson (as Sabrina Duncan), Jaclyn Smith (as Kelly Garrett), and Farrah Fawcett (as Jill Munroe), have since been replaced respectively by Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts and Cheryl Ladd.

It has been three years since series three was released, and in the new set viewers are given six discs, featuring 25 episodes from the 1979 – 1980 era, including a double lengthed season premiere.

Some of the big name special guests to appear in the DVD set include: Dick Sargent, Judy Landers, Bert Convy, Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Ted Lange, Lauren Tewes and Robert Reed to name a few.
Charlies Angels; the Complete Season 4 is out now at most DVD stores, retailing at $39.95.
